Session Process
Contact Me: Let’s get the ball rolling! Clients reach out to me with their inquiry and what they are looking for. An agreed upon date (and rain date) are selected for the session.
Deposit Confirmation: After discussing your vision, wants, and needs, a 50% deposit is required to book and hold your appointment time.
Pre-Shoot Consultation: To facilitate an individualized experience for each client, I provide a pre-shoot consultation to discuss further details related to your vision for artwork and art options, and location of shoot. This can be done in-person at a local coffee shop etc., or over the phone. I am extremely flexible in terms of location, and love to shoot in new places. Popular options include local parks, the beach and other town-scapes, hiking trails, and your own home indoor/outside space. This is meant to be an engaging discussion on your investment, please feel comfortable coming with your own ideas if you feel inclined. At this time, the client will sign the session contract and print release forms.
Photography Session: This is the fun part! We meet at the location of your choice and start shooting! All sessions are fun, relaxing, flexible, and meant to be comfortable and enjoyable. Sessions are adapted to the personality and energy of each client. Feel free to bring any props you’d like to include in your photographs.
Post-Shoot Consultation: Our post-shoot consultation will be time available to go over the timeline on delivery of the viewing gallery of your proofs (which is emailed via link). A product package brochure will also be presented and discussed for discounts on package deals. A number of additional a la carte and package options are available, so don’t be surprised if you have a hard time choosing your favorite art options! BLR Photography works as a fine art photographer and works with an accredited fine art shop that provides canvas, frames, and other options.
